What this covers
Accessible Workspace is a pair of apps, Accessible Workspace for Mac and Accessible Workspace for Windows, made by Eliezer Andres. They work with your Google mail, calendar, contacts, and Drive. This policy explains what happens to your Google data when you use them. The apps were previously called Accessible Mail, and you may also see the sign-in name “Workable Tools” on older copies.
Google data the apps access
With your permission, the apps use your Google account to:
- read, send, label, and organize your Gmail messages;
- read and manage your Google Calendar events;
- read and manage your Google Contacts;
- read and manage files in Google Drive, so you can attach files to mail and save attachments.
Each feature is used only when you ask for it in the app.
Where your data goes
The apps run on your own computer and talk directly to Google. There is no server run by the developer. The developer does not receive, store, copy, or see your email, calendar, contacts, files, or sign-in tokens.
Your sign-in tokens and any cached mail data are stored only on your computer, in your user account's private app folder. On Windows the tokens are encrypted with Windows data protection. On Mac the folders are readable only by your user account.
How data is used
Google user data is used only to provide the features you see in the apps. It is not sold, shared with third parties, used for advertising, or used to train artificial intelligence models. No person reads your data.
The apps' use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Your control
You can sign out of an account inside either app, which removes its stored tokens from your computer. You can also revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting the app's data folder removes everything it stored locally.
